Call for Abstracts Now Open

Submit your abstracts to GlobalSurgery@Yale.Edu

Abstracts for poster presentations at the Yale Global Surgery Symposium must be submitted by April 15, 2019 to be reviewed and accepted. All abstracts relevant to the field of global surgery are eligible for review.

Previously presented posters are also eligible for consideration.

Guidelines for the abstract are listed below:

- Maximum number of authors: 10 (including the lead author)

- Structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions

- Word limit: 350 words for entire abstract (does not include the title)

- Table or figure criteria: Maximum one table or figure per abstract

- All co-authors must disclose financial relationships

Posters may be presented by students, residents, or faculty. The posters should be posted by 8:30AM on the day of the symposium and the poster session will be held in the lobby of The Anylan Center (TAC) during the lunch break from approximately 12-1pm during which time presenters are expected to be at their poster. The first-named author is presumed to be the presenter (changes must be sent to the e-mail listed above).
